At
work I get to do some very creative things. Last fall our "garden
visionary," Jenks Farmer, came to me with design for a concrete cattle
trough. This trough should be rustic and elegant, have a way to
incorporate a fountain, and fit on a patio. This is what I came up with.
Using scrap moldings from an abandoned building on site to create an
interesting textured design down the face of the trough. This added just
enough refinement to the piece to make it fit in a much more cultured
environment that most toughs would.
Spending some time today doing a quick refresher for the commercial pesticide applicators exam tomorrow. I now know more than I thought I ever could about pesticides!
